In an era redefined by multifaceted global challenges and increasingly complex policy objectives, the need to bridge the gap between evidence and action has never been more urgent. This high-level session convenes leading global investment think tanks and academic centres, to generate forward-looking insights and evidence-based recommendations that can meaningfully inform investment policymaking at national, regional, and global levels. This Roundtable will explore emerging challenges and opportunities in investment policy research, with a focus on 1) identifying core priorities for a future-oriented investment policy analysis agenda, 2) developing a multidisciplinary framework for research policy in investment promotion and facilitation, 3) Strengthening the interface between research and policymaking to ensure alignment with real-world needs.
